..... is on it's way.

Yesterday I went down to J&R (New York City) and bought my new digital SLR. I've been looking around and comparing for some time now, but I finally decided, and I love my Nikon D50. So I charged the battery, and when I got up this morning, popped it in as well as the memory card, mounted the lens and filters, and went shooting. Unfortunatly, I suck, so everything I took, sucked. I might end up uploading one or two relatively decent ones, but that's unlikely. Even though today wasn't a too succesfull day, it's my first day with my own camera, so I have a while to go before expecting to take nice shots. I'm also telling myself that the muggy and stormy day didn't help too much. But that's just to make myself feel better.

Anyways I'll be using a different account for all photography, might be ~Valdemare, might be something else, I'll decide pretty soon. I'll keep this one for all digital art that I might keep producing. I'll leave the three shots from Greece I have already posted here so that I don't lose the comments, but that'll be it.

In other news ... I don't think there is any. O yes. I leavein six (that's 6) days for France, and I wont be back until late August. I'm taking my camera with me, so when I'll get back I'm going to flood my gallery. I just hope that 1GB will be enough for the week I have it with me.
